The Medler Big Band wears many hats. Old-school entertainment! Traditional swing meets the Improviational influences of Charles Mingus & John Coltrane. Under the direction of Michelle Medler (on woodwinds) & Ben Medler (on bass) an all-star line up of Portland, OR based musicians and Portland Youth Jazz Orchestra (PYJO) alumni bring a seriously swingin' show! Swing dancers are highly encouraged!
